Huis Marseille

Huis Marseille is Amsterdam’s first photography museum in historic canal houses showing high-quality photography exhibitions. It is housed in two historic 17th-century canal houses with many original details preserved, like ornate stucco work, ceiling paintings, marble finishes and an elegant Louis XIV–style period room. Inside you will find changing photography exhibitions (on average 3–4 per year), a photo-library, a specialized photobook shop, and a peaceful canal-side garden with a small restored house that sometimes serves as exhibition space.
