Around Rembrandtplein
The square is named after the great Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn. On the square you find a sculptural group depicting his most famous painting “The Night Watch”. The square itself is famous for its many bars and clubs and really comes to life during the night.
Because of its central location renting a bicycle at Black Bikes Rembrandtplein offers a perfect starting point for exploring the city. Be it visiting the Hermitage museum and the Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam gardens, shopping along the Utrechtsestraat or cycling into the picturesque Dutch country side, following the Amstel river.
